Seven days of immersive, small-group, slow travel on (mostly) good dirt roads. The Slow Baja Winter Expedition is my one trip a year open to vehicles of any age. We start in Tecate with a beautiful dinner and evening around the campfire at Rancho La Bellota. We'll head south to see the whales at Ojo de Liebre with beach drives and oceanfront camps in between. Our trip will end on the Gulf of California in a beachfront hotel in San Felipe. Pre-run routes, pre-selected, private campsites, ranch stays, gulf swims, fishing, and damn good people.
