Slow Baja LLC Fulfillment Policy for Credit Card Payments via Stripe®
These policies will help users determine how Slow Baja LLC fulfills orders and credit card payments made through the payment processor Stripe.
All prices are in US dollars. For International sales and shipping please inquire. Slow Baja LLC does not sell merchandise to residents of the state of Illinois.
The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and all Agreements: “Client,” “You,” and “You’re” refers to you, the person on this website and compliant with the Company’s terms and conditions, either therein or in a separate written contract. “The Company,” “Ourselves,” “We,” “Our,” and “Us” refer to our Company. “Party,” “Parties,” or “Us” refers to both the Client and ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance, and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client most appropriately for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of the provision of the Company’s stated services by and subject to, prevailing laws of the State of Illinois. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalization, and/or they are taken as interchangeable and, therefore, as referring to the same.
Fulfillment Policy
At Slow Baja LLC, we ensure that our services are satisfactory. Customer satisfaction is our utmost priority, and we take all complaints about the services we render very seriously. This Fulfillment Policy (the “Policy”) informs you about our delivery policy and the rules and guidelines relating to refunds for services purchased from our Company. Please read this Policy carefully to understand your rights and the requirements for the refund. Please note our services are priced in US Dollars.
Delivery Policy
At Slow Baja LLC, we provide highly specialized, in-person adventures and sell Slow Baja merchandise. Our merchandise orders are fulfilled via USPS, UPS, and FedEx. We deliver our adventures to clients in person, often in remote, foreign, and sometimes dangerous locations. Our clients willingly participate in these adventures of their own volition and acknowledge the inherent risks involved in their participation.
Return Policy
If you are not 100% satisfied with your Slow Baja merchandise purchase for any reason, you may make a return or an exchange within 30 days from the date of purchase.* The original purchased item(s) must be in PERFECT, new condition.
*Please note that we currently do not offer free exchanges for international orders. If you are an international customer and need to return an eligible product, please contact us.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation fees will be applied per entrant according to the following schedule based on the date we receive your written notification:
Cancellations initiated by the entrant received via email to Slow Baja with more than 60 days’ notice before the Adventure start date will receive their deposit as a credit towards a future Slow Baja Adventure.
The credit expires one year after being issued.
Cancellations initiated by the entrant received via email to Slow Baja with 30 - 60 days’ notice before the Adventure start date will forfeit their deposit as a cancellation fee. Any subsequent payments can be used as a credit towards a future Slow Baja Adventure.
The credit expires one year after being issued.
Cancellations initiated by the entrant received in writing to Slow Baja with less than 30 days notice before the adventure start date will forfeit all monies (deposit and any subsequent payments) as a cancellation fee.
No refunds will be provided for any reason for an unused portion of an Adventure once the trip begins, including if you leave an Adventure for any reason --or are removed from an Adventure. The adventure price is a package; refunds and credits are not available for unused services.
There are no exceptions to this cancellation and refund policy, including weather, terrorism, civil strife, personal, family, medical emergencies, or any other circumstances beyond our control. We strongly encourage you to purchase trip cancellation and interruption insurance.
Slow Baja is not responsible for expenses entrants incur in preparing for a trip or any additional arrangements pre- or post-departure date. The term applies whether the Adventure is altered, modified, or canceled for any reason. Because the Adventure may be canceled when a minimum number of entrants have not signed up, we recommend that you purchase refundable air tickets or wait until we have confirmed the Adventure approximately 60 days before the event date.
