Exploring Tijuana with Lance Jordan

rs=w_1280 (15).jpeg

Lance Jordan has been exploring Tijuana since he was a teenager growing up in nearby Bonita, California. When a friend was seeking alternative treatment for her terminal cancer, Jordan volunteered to drive her across the border to the clinic. Since that day, he has been volunteering -five days a week, transporting patients from San Diego to the clinic. In this podcast, we ate, drank, and explored the city. The day started with coffee at Praga Cafe across from the famed Caesar's Hotel on Avenida Revolucion.  Casa Cacao, followed, where we dined on enmoladas, tlayudas, and tamales with their amazing house-made salsas and moles. Traditional hot Oaxacan chocolate and locally-roasted dark coffee finished off the gluttony. Dandy Del Sur was next, for drinks and a breather, before tacos at Tres Salsas. Our last stop was at the BCB Tasting Room for a local craft brew where we met owner, Ruben Hernandez. Please note we taped this conversation in January 2020 before social distancing due to COVID-19 was in practice.
